We are here to provide impetus for closer cooperation between schools and the rest of the society – in order to facilitate the community of teachers, guest teachers and students to generate and implement ideas that create more meaningful learning and provide source for self-development.

Our e-platform, the Back to School info system enables search of teachers and/or guest teachers based on their interest, and getting in touch with each other to enable agreeing on a common lesson or other projects – only sky is the limit here!

Vocabulary

• Teacher – the teacher who works at school
• Guest teacher – the person who works in other walks of life and is interested in contributing to the development of students at school and Estonian education by giving at least one lesson
• Cooperation partner – the necessary second party to host a lesson:  for a teacher it is the guest teacher, and for a guest teacher it is the teacher

Registration 101 – tips for signing up for the “Back to School” info system

1. Fill in your profile – it is the only way for you to become visible to potential cooperation partners. The most critical part of it is defining your lesson preferences. On the page of personal data you can make your contact details visible to other users of the system – that is a tool for making it more operational for your potential cooperation partners to contact you.

2. Use search to find out if there are any potential cooperation partners who match your lesson preference criteria. If yes, do contact them; if not as of yet, come back soon again! In the meanwhile, it may also happen that a potential cooperation partner finds you!
